Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Handyman Manchester collects, uses and protects your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Information we collect

We may collect personal information such as your name, address or postcode, phone number, email address and details of the services you request. This information is collected when you contact us, request a quote, make a booking or use our website.

Our website uses a tracking script provided by our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) to record form submissions and basic visit information such as the page you were on, your device type and browser. This helps us respond to enquiries and understand how the website is used.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the services you request, to communicate with you about quotes and bookings, and to improve our services. We will only send you updates or promotional material if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (for example our customer relationship and email systems), where required by law, or with your consent.

5. Security and retention

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
